whizzing wings approach,
dusk light filtered hazy gray
dragonfly drifts by

honey thick air,
irridescent pearlized wings
murmur bright hello

Haiku Constellation for the bees who appeared in my yard last week
Swarm on soft green leaves,
Buzzing heart beneath the thorns
Pausing … moving on

Torn between stillness
and the thousand wings of want,
blackberries bloomed too early
~ * ~
Cats in window watch -
humming knot of bees
a heart on the move.
